There are a wide variety of public sector entities ranging from local school boards to departments of the federal government. Conducting research in the public sector is not as straight forward as in the private or nonprofit sector in that there are not single sources for information at all these different levels. Over the coming months we will begin the process of developing both some general tools for strategic research in the public sector as well as identifying some basic sites where information can be gathered.
Like the rest of the Strategic Corporate Research website, it will be organized around the 24 basic research questions. Explore the Public Sector Research Chart which is an adaption of the approach we developed in the private sector. Look in the Resources Section to find various print versions of this chart.
