Canada Revenue Agency provides a BN/Registration Number for every registered charity. It is contained in the Basic Information Sheet on the T3010 Return.

The charity’s website may provide detailed information about their principal and any new service they are providing.  This information is also available in Section C2 of the T3010 Return available from Canada Revenue Agency. It includes any ongoing and new programming.

The CRA’s list of Charities – Basic Search and Charity Focus are also great alternative sources.
